Soup is an another absolute classic in Traditional Chinese Medicine and this one utilizes Chen Pi, otherwise known as our aged mandarin peel, extremely well. It is a great soup for the summer, and tastes fresh and sweet. Not only that but it is great for a lighter meal after a long day or a workout. With its' taste, it truly is a great soup to try for anyone while it can linger greatly in your tastebuds. According to many people, they even say the clearness of the soups represent the cleansing of your body.
Health benefits can be numerous including as a great hydration method. Not only that but it can help your spleen greatly. Great for your mind, and internal organs; this soup is great for tasting and health. It is great for dealing with heat and can help replenish your yin in Eastern beliefs. Ingredients
-Winter-melon
-Pearl Barley -Dried scallop
-Conch
-Candied dates
-Pork shank
Recipe
1.In a large pot, fill it with lots of water and all the ingredients then bring it to a boil
2.Once boiling bring it to a simmer for at least 2 hours (we recommend around 2 1/2)
3.Serve!
