Spill the tea! Tangerine Peel Tea- Aged Mandarin peel week

Spill the tea is back again this time with an aged Tangerine Peel Tea! This one although takes a bit longer due to the dried aspect of it; it is still extremely nutritious and unique. To be fairly honest this one took a while for it to grow on us but eventually we started to enjoy the pungent flavours it brought forth. Though it initially hits you with some bitterness, it leaves the feeling that you would get as if you had eaten an orange. With light hints of citrus and slight sweetness as well, it truly is completely unlike many other teas.

Did we mention the health benefits though? According to Traditional Chinese Medicine means; this replenishes your qi and allows us to maintain a better mental state. That includes aiding with mood swings and other grumpy moods. Not only that but it helps nourish your spleen and lungs, while providing a whole lot of nutrients. Nutrients including vitamin C and anti-oxidants as well it will fight against arthritis, aging, and cuts on your skin! Overall, it is simply a BEAST when it comes to helping you with all the benefits you would find in oranges but CONCENTRATED. So please give it a try to this unique and different way of having the citrus fruit in a tea!

Recipe!

1.Slice an aged mandarin peel or two depending on the pot into some thinner pieces

2.Pour a bit of warm water in a pot with an aged mandarin peel to let it soften a bit(optional)

3.In a few minutes, add boiling water and let it steep for around 10 minutes before drinking

4.Serve!

We hope you enjoy this simple but interesting adventure today!
