One of the simplest recipes, if you can even call it that, is a bitter gourd tea. Made through pretty much just boiling; it is very interesting in taste. However, what it lacks in flavour, it gives with health benefits. To be very honest, we are not the biggest fans of the taste but it is worth a try! Stereotypically unlike the juice made from the bitter gourd, you can actually use the seeds and leaves as well in this recipe. In most cases people try to make up for the taste by incorporating it in smoothies or making up with spices. But in this case as it is a pure tea without any other ingredients; YOU WILL BE HIT WITH THE BITTER WAVE. So looks like we should all brace up and listen to our parents once and for all, scrunch up our faces, and ingest the bitter greens that we had so oft been talked to about in our childhood.
Bitter melon's health properties are infamous and absolutely in abundance. Starting with your blood pressure that it regulates and how it can cleanse your liver quite naturally. Furthermore, it reduces your blood cholesterol, blood sugar, and likelihood of cancer according to some studies.
