Like Inspector Gadget's infamous hat, the Goji berry has so many amazing uses. The Goji berry otherwise known as the Wolfberry has transcended your stereotypical berry use with its' marvellous medicinal properties. Native to Asia, this berry has been used in traditional Asian cuisine for thousands of years. Nowadays, it has been labelled as a superfood with it being a pivotal ingredient in not just Traditional Chinese medicine, but also those of Traditional Korean, Vietnamese and Japanese medicine spanning since the distant 250 BCE. With its legend, it has now been incorporated commonly in alternative medicines and health foods throughout the world as it transcends location.
Goji berries first originated in Asia, and in Traditional Chinese medicine it is known for two things; "明目" which means to assist with eyes and to help you sleep better. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is stereotypically taken dry while it nourishes you. They believe that it replenishes your yin and blood as well. In Korea, "Gugija" or the Goji berry is even considered to be representative of matrimony. In their history, it has been known as a cure-all medicine with many folktales speaking of its immense ability. Whereas in Traditional Vietnamese senses, it is called "kỷ tử" and nicknamed happy berry due to its nature. In Vietnam, they even use this berry and its backing to tell fortunes. Overall, all these Asian cultures have heavily incorporated this amazing herb into their cuisines in the modern day.

We love all the positive affects this berry can give with so many people who ingest it reporting uplifts in mood. Goji berries are something our team takes and it helps with our everyday as we even feel lighter in a sense! This fruit has so many healthy properties such as vitamin C & A, iron, zinc, anti-oxidants, and fibre! Furthermore, it has been known to aid in preventing flu along with a boost to your immune system. With many testings, scientists have found people who find their energy increase along with focus, athletic performance and an overall increase in ability after eating/drinking Goji berries! There are some studies that even show it increases life expectancy. Although it is not all conclusive, the Goji berry is still extremely healthy with its minerals, vitamins and fats.
